After 19 years of puppy love, I married my best friend and first grade sweetheart. I promise I’m not making that up. We live in a house just west of Calgary, together with our dog, two cats, and most recently our baby girl.
The connections we share are unique and wonderfully imperfect. When my wife looks at me, her eyes reflect two decades of highs and lows, revealing the tapestry of experiences that define us.
These connections are everywhere. At times they’re obvious, but often they’re hiding within the subtleties of each fleeting moment. This fascinates me. I strive to capture these moments and tell honest, visual stories that are as magical as they are authentic.

Gio is an incredibly warm person and immediately puts his subject matters at ease. Not only that, he’s incredibly professional and an absolute delight to work with. When thinking about the look we wanted for our wedding photos, most important to us was that our personalities be reflected, that the photos be documentary style, capturing the moments of the day without being posed or forced. To be honest, through the day I often didn’t even see Gio working his magic, though looking at the photos, he seemed to be in 5 places at once and we could not be happier with them. They truly reflect the beautiful moments of the day and tell the story of our wedding in the perfect way. If you have a chance to work with Gio, lucky you. You are in for a treat!

The quality of work and our overall experience with Gio was excellent. He has a wonderful eye for capturing candid moments and turning them into lasting memories. There was a surprise blizzard on our wedding day, so the shots that we had planned were no longer possible, however due to Gio’s creativity we still ended up with an incredible wedding album.
